Since the 2009 season, the FIA has made the weight of the cars public, with the fuel load that can be easily calculated, following the Saturday qualifying session.

Here is the weight of each qualifying car for the Malaysian Grand Prix, sorted in ascending order. Furthermore, the specific amount of fuel has been added, along with the driver’s position on the starting grid for the Malaysian race. This is to observe the different strategies:

As in Malaysia, the drivers who came back in Q1 are those with the least fuel except for Kubica, Sutil, and Glock affected by a grid penalty.

The Q2 eliminators in qualifying have the most fuel.
