The Campos clan is delighted with Dallara’s progress

The Campos team is very optimistic about its presence on the starting grid in Bahrain for its first Formula 1 season. Driver Bruno Senna visited the engineers at the Dallara factory, which builds the single-seaters.

The Brazilian is the first driver to have signed with Adrian Campos’s team in collaboration with the Meta organization: « With each visit to the Dallara buildings, the progress in the car is more evident and we are starting to see it in its final size. There has also been all the wind tunnel work, » said Campos.

Toni Cuquerella, Campos’ engineer who oversees Dallara’s activities, added that the team had gained a head start in its preparations for the start of the 2010 season: « The project is very advanced and we have already passed all the internal tests for homologation. Dallara has worked extremely hard for months and we are really happy with the results. »

« Thanks to the advanced development of the car and the data provided by Dallara, we were able to perform initial simulations on almost every track on the 2010 calendar. »

Senna was also delighted with the current progress and particularly about his own seat: «Being able to sit in the car, making a seat according to my exact size, constitutes another step forward to be present for test sessions in February, » said the Brazilian.

« I have already driven cars manufactured by Dallara and I have full confidence in their way of working as well as in their experience and quality. We are a new team and we will struggle at the beginning of course, but if we continue to work in this direction, we will be able to make a good start to the season. »
