Jarno Trulli stated that he would make a decision about his future after the ‘Toyota Motor’ Festival taking place this weekend in Fuji, Japan. Although Toyota has withdrawn from F1, Jarno Trulli and Kamui Kobayashi will attend the annual Toyota Motorsport meeting in Fuji. It will be an opportunity for the Japanese manufacturer to bid a final farewell to its fans.
Speaking to Autosport following a test in Nascar, Trulli stated that his commitment to Toyota was total and that he would choose his 2010 team next week.
Although the Italian is strongly linked to one of the Lotus seats, he has made it clear that he has other options on the grid: “I haven’t signed anything yet,” he revealed when asked about the progress of the situation with Lotus. “I am in talks with several teams and will make my decision soon.”
« You never know in life. I keep doors open and deal with multiple teams. »
