Fernando Alonso is expected to make his first appearance in Ferrari colors tomorrow afternoon at the traditional Scuderia gathering in a ski resort. The ‘Wroom Week’ in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy, is an annual media event organized jointly by Ferrari and Ducati through their common sponsor Marlboro. It runs until Saturday, January 16th. Alonso will be presented to the press along with his new teammate Felipe Massa and the Ducati MotoGP duo Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden.
Alonso already made his first appearance for Ferrari when he attended the World Finals in Valencia last autumn, but since his contract with Renault did not expire until the end of the calendar year, he could not wear the Ferrari brand on that occasion. He also spent time at the Ferrari base in Maranello before Christmas and began his preparations for his first season with the team.
The 2010 Ferrari will make its track debut during the first official tests in Valencia on February 1st as planned.
