Fernando Alonso has just driven a Ferrari car for the first time in testing, his new Formula 1 team for 2010. Indeed, he took part in the filming of a commercial that will reveal the team’s new colors for the 2010 season, although red will still be present. This mainly refers to the arrival of new sponsors.
Alonso headed to the Circuit Paul Ricard with last year’s F60, but the car featured its new partners, with Santander prominently displayed on the rear and front wings as well as on the mirrors.
The Spanish banking giant has signed a five-year contract with the Maranello team coinciding with Alonso’s arrival in the team to replace Kimi Räikkönen. After this brief test on the French circuit, the Iberian will truly start working with the 2010 car in Valencia next month.
The new Ferrari will be officially unveiled on January 28.
