Kubica operated on for the third and final time
The Polish driver underwent a final operation yesterday. The professionals are satisfied, and Robert Kubica can now fully focus on his rehabilitation and return to Formula 1.
As announced, Robert underwent a new surgery on Wednesday. The surgeons at Santa Corona Hospital operated on his complex elbow fracture.
The procedure lasted eight hours. It involved stabilizing and reconstructing the damaged fragments of the delicate structure. Upon leaving the operating room, the doctors expressed satisfaction with the outcome, as the protocol was completed without any issues.
Robert Kubica will remain in intensive care for a few more days to recover from this latest operation. He is then expected to undergo rehabilitation in Italy for several months.
