Williams has decided to take a step further in its Williams Grand Prix Experience program as the Grove team has just partnered with two-star chef Michael Caines to have him manage the meals distributed throughout all the races of the season.

This announcement was made on the same day as the unveiling of the new team livery. The lucky guests of this event were able to enjoy a five-course meal created and executed by one of the most renowned British chefs, known for the excellence of the restaurant at Gidleigh Park, where he works.

But that doesn’t mean Williams will stop collaborating with the chefs they already have relationships with, as Michael Caines points out: “I am absolutely thrilled to become an official partner of the AT&T Williams team and help them develop their receptions, which are already at a very high level. It’s great to work on these menus with their chefs, Adam Dixon, Jon Smee, and their teams, as well as Jo Turley. It’s a prestigious partnership and something I am very proud of. I am passionate about cars and Formula One. I have been following Williams for years. So for me, this commitment is simply fantastic.”

This announcement also puts the unveiling of the new FW33 livery in the background. Indeed, it is largely devoid of sponsors because, even though AT&T, Randstad, and Oris are still present, PDVSA is the only notable sponsor to make an appearance (linked to Pastor Maldonado’s arrival) on the car. But its presence is so massive (engine cover, rear wing) that the support must be substantial (the sum of 15 million dollars is often mentioned). Under these conditions, it is all the more understandable that Nico Hülkenberg had to pack his bags during the offseason…
