Bahrain Tests: Gasly the fastest overall
Good news for Pierre Gasly, who set the fastest time during the last GP2 Series testing session held in Bahrain. He is followed by Stoffel Vandoorne and Mitch Evans for the final day of this three-day session.

During the last test session held at the Sakhir International Circuit, Pierre Gasly stood out by setting the fastest time at 1:39.632, 14 thousandths better than Stoffel Vandoorne, in the single-seater prepared by the French team ART Grand Prix.
Almost all the best times were achieved in the morning of this third and final day as the drivers and teams worked mainly on long runs in the afternoon, as the track temperature soared.
The podium was completed by Mitch Evans in a single-seater from the Spanish team Racing Engineering, followed by his teammate Alexander Rossi and Raffaele Marciello (Trident).
The top 5 drivers are separated by less than a tenth of a second. A small scare in the afternoon as Norman Nato’s car caught fire; the GP2 season will start in two weeks.
