Italian F2 Grand Prix: Sprint Race 2 – Daruvala alone in the world
Jehan Daruvala was able to take advantage of his front row position to take the lead right from the first turn and drive alone to his first victory of the season! Viscaal and Shwartzman join him on the podium.

Despite his pole position this morning, David Beckmann is still starting from pole following his tenth place in this morning’s race 1.
For the second time of the day, he was stolen his first place at the first corner. This time, it was Jéhan Daruvala.
The Indian was not worried at all at the front of the race despite a Virtual Safety Car caused by the retirement of the rookie Enzo Fittipaldi.
From the start of the race, Theo Pourchaire continued his momentum from the morning by gaining two positions at the start, notably overtaking Guanyu Zhou. The Frenchman then went after the championship leader Oscar Piastri. Here he is in seventh place, having started tenth.
Shortly after the halfway point, the French driver’s tire performance began to drop. He will finish the race where he started it, in tenth place.
Meanwhile, Bent Viscaal regained second place by overtaking David Beckmann. The latter lost his podium by being surpassed by Robert Shwartzman and Liam Lawson.
Daruvala crosses the finish line seven seconds ahead of his runner-up, Bent Viscaal. Robert Shwartzman, for his part, completes the podium.
