Remember last summer F2 – Review of the last round in Sochi!
The F2 is back this weekend in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia! Let's refresh our memory on the last round in Sochi during the weekend of September 24-26.

The penultimate round of the season took place more than two months ago in Sochi with many garages… flooded!
To start this beautiful (or not) weekend, Oscar Piastri clinches his third consecutive pole position, with a superb performance from Théo Pourchaire in third place.
We learn that race 2 is cancelled due to bad weather. Race 1 therefore took place on Saturday afternoon.
Course 1:
Dan Ticktum therefore starts from pole position following his tenth place in qualifying.
Before the end of the first lap, both Uni Virtuosi drivers retired. (Drugovich hit the wall during the grid setup and Guanyu Zhou suffered a breakdown).
Dan Ticktum wins ahead of Juri Vips and Robert Shwartzman. Théo Pourchaire finishes in a good fifth place with the two points for the fastest lap.
Course 2:
Race a bit soporific with the victory of the Australian Oscar Piastri ahead of Théo Pourchaire and Jehan Daruvala!
Oscar Piastri leaves Russia with 178 points in the championship. Guanyu Zhou second with 142 points, Robert Shwartzman third with 135 points and Théo Pourchaire, who had an excellent weekend, is fifth in the championship with 120 points.
Oscar Piastri could be champion as early as this weekend in Jeddah if he scores 29 points more than Guanyu Zhou and 22 more than Robert Shwartzman, and so on … Needless to say, we are likely to see a final battle in Abu Dhabi next week!
