Abu Dhabi F2 Grand Prix – Oscar Piastri, the last winner of the season!

Oscar Piastri signs his sixth victory of the season! Starting from pole position, the Australian managed the race with masterful skill.

In the first lap, Christian Lundgaard spins out and a few meters further, Jack Doohan, the rookie from Jeddah starting in second position, crashes into the wall all by himself. It’s a retirement for the Kiwi!

All the drivers on super soft tires are stopping at the pits. Théo Pourchaire had taken the track on medium tires and stops at the very end of the race. He comes out in fourth position.

Felipe Drugovich is doing the overcut in French and will overtake him on the track.

The Brazilian and the Frenchman are going to go get Robert Shwartzman for third place. The Russian was struggling with his tires. He is forced to give in to the attacks of the two drivers with fresh tires.

Victory for Oscar Piastri in front of Guanyu Zhou and Felipe Drugovich!

Théo Pourchaire finishes in a great fourth place (he started sixth) and takes home the two points for the fastest lap!

Oscar Piastri wins the Anthoine Hubert trophy, rewarding the best rookie of the season!

The season is over for Formula 2. The teams will be present next week for tests in preparation for the 2022 season!
