Barcelona F2 Trials – Nissany shows opportunism on Day 2
Roy Nissany took advantage of the good weather in the morning to set the fastest time in his Dams.

Today on the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, the sun was still hidden by thick clouds.
The drivers had only the morning to drive on a completely dry track.
Calamitous morning
No rain in the sky, but a rain of red flags fell on the circuit.
Mechanical breakdown for Marino Sato, Ayumu Iwasa loses his car and crashes into the wall at turn 5. Jake Hughes and Olli Caldwell experienced the same thing at that corner just minutes apart.
Two breakdowns again in the morning, with Olli Caldwell again and bad luck again for Juri Vips.
The best times of the day, including that of Roy Nissany, were achieved in the morning.
Rainy afternoon
During the first half hour, the drivers performed race simulations but not any fast lap times.
The rain has appeared and made the track wet but not wet enough to put rain tires.
Théo Pourchaire achieved the sixth time with 38 laps, Clément Novalak the sixteenth time with 40 laps completed!
See you tomorrow for the last day of testing.
