Formula 2 – Amaury Cordeel suspended at Silverstone
The Belgian Amaury Cordeel, VAR Motorsport driver, will be suspended for the Silverstone meeting due to an accumulation of penalty points on his license.
Responsible for a collision on Sunday with Oli Caldwell, the 19-year-old Belgian received a penalty point on his license.
Over the 12 accumulated months, he reached 12 penalty points. This means a race suspension for the next meeting at Silverstone.
We already had a similar case in Formula 2 in 2019 with Mahaveer Raghunathan. He had been suspended for the weekend in Austria. At that time, Patricio O’Ward had replaced him for his first race in Europe.
