British Grand Prix – Victory for Logan Sargeant

Logan Sargeant had a very impressive race. Starting from pole position, the American managed to maintain the lead throughout the race. Théo Pourchaire was an excellent second. Liam Lawson completed the podium.

At the lights going out, Théo Pourchaire took off! He started from fourth place and landed in second position at turn 3.

Roy Nissany at the end of the first lap, as usual, was very messy. He pushes Dennis Hauger off the track. The Norwegian goes flying over a kerb and ends up on the Halo of the Dams driver… Both drivers retire from the race and come out unharmed.

The pit stops start at the end of lap 9. Ayumu Iwasa is losing a lot of time in the pits due to a problem with the rear right.

Logan Sargeant and Théo Pourchaire come into the pits at the same time. The Frenchman remains behind the American on the exit. There will be an investigation into the ART team for an issue at the pits on both cars.

The rest of the race goes smoothly.

Logan Sargeant secures his first Formula 2 victory. Théo Pourchaire finishes second, gaining points on Felipe Drugovich (Let’s not forget that ART is under investigation for an issue with pit stops). Liam Lawson, who became a reserve driver for Red Bull and AlphaTauri following Vips’ dismissal, completes the podium.

Felipe Drugovich, the championship leader, finishes in fourth place. His teammate, Clément Novalak, finishes in thirteenth place.

Meeting next week in Austria where the F2 and F3 will be present!
