Formula 2 – Doohan in charge, Pourchaire still unlucky
Jack Doohan asserts himself today as the boss. Second podium of the weekend! Felipe Drugovich, today's poleman, secures the points with second place. Liam Lawson also achieves his second podium of the weekend. Théo Pourchaire had to retire due to an engine failure.

Everything is going well at the start, Felipe Drugovich takes off from the first turn and avoids being drafted by Jack Doohan, who was able to pass Sargeant, sliding, and Fittipaldi to take second place.
In the fourth lap, Théo Pourchaire once again experiences a glitch with his engine, right in the straight line of Kemmel. The Frenchman is truly unlucky!
The pit stops begin at the end of the seventh lap as required by the regulations. Jack Doohan, with an undercut (and a decent stop with MP Motorsport), narrowly overtakes Felipe Drugovich!
Following the pit stops, the end of the race is much calmer.
Richard Verschoor takes advantage of a strategy opposite to that of his rivals to climb up to fourth place.
Jack Doohan easily dominates with the fastest lap of the race, securing his first main race victory of the season. This is the second podium finish of the weekend for the rookie. Felipe Drugovich further cements his lead in the championship by finishing in second place. Liam Lawson also secures his second podium finish!
Clément Novalak, with a reverse strategy as well, climbed up to tenth place and leaves Belgium with one point. The learning process in F2 continues for him.
Meet us next week in Zandvoort, Netherlands, the stronghold of MP Motorsport and Richard Verschoor. It’s like a mini-Verstappen Mania!
