Pole position for Drugovich, Théo Pourchaire in the wall
Felipe Drugovich secures a second consecutive pole position after Spa last week. He is followed by Doohan and Sargeant. Unfortunately, Théo Pourchaire hit the wall.

During his first stint, Théo Pourchaire achieved the fourth provisional time. While attacking turn 3 (left banking), the ART driver unfortunately loses control of the rear of his single-seater and crashes into the Techpro wall. End of the session for the French driver.
Brazilian Felipe Drugovich, the dominant leader of the championship, reinforces his position with this new pole position (1:20.713). Jack Doohan, the other strong contender, is in second place (+0.226), with Sargeant in third (+0.528).
Unfortunately for Théo Pourchaire, it will only be the sixteenth place on the grid tomorrow…
Not many drivers took to the track after the red flag caused by Jehan Daruvala’s off-track incident.
The good French news comes from Clément Novalak, who finished tenth! He will be in pole position tomorrow for the sprint race. He will have the opportunity to prove what he is capable of.
In Formula 3, Victor Martins set the second fastest time. Frenchman Isack Hadjar, a phenomenon of the season, took sixth place.
