Without any big surprises, the Formula 2 and Formula 3 calendars will not change much for 2023. Let’s decipher them:

Formula 2

Dates Lieux
1 03-05 mars Sakhir
2 17-19 mars Djeddah
3 31 mars – 02 avril Melbourne
4 28-30 avril Bakou
5 19-21 mai Imola
6 25-28 mai Monaco
7 02-04 juin Barcelone
8 30 juin – 02 juillet Spielberg
9 07-09 juillet Silverstone
10 21-23 juillet Budapest
11 28-30 juillet Spa
12 25-27 aout Zandvoort
13 01-03 septembre Monza
14 24-26 novembre Abu Dhabi

Almost similar calendar for Formula 2. Melbourne makes its first appearance on the F2 calendar. Otherwise, no changes compared to 2022. (Only France is “excluded,” replacing Sochi). 14 meetings are planned, with an almost 3-month break between the penultimate race (Monza) and the final one in Abu Dhabi. Nonetheless, it’s a great calendar to support our French drivers who will be in the Formula 1 waiting room. For now, we’re talking about Victor Martins (ART GP), Clément Novalak (Trident), Isack Hadjar (Hitech GP), and maybe a third season for Théo Pourchaire at ART GP?

Formula 3

Dates Lieux
1 03-05 mars Sakhir
2 31 mars – 02 avril Melbourne
3 19-21 mai Imola
4 25-28 mai Monaco
5 02-04 juin Barcelone
6 30 juin – 02 juillet Spielberg
7 07-09 juillet Silverstone
8 21-23 juillet Budapest
9 28-30 juillet Spa
10 01-03 septembre Monza

Just like the Formula 2, Melbourne will be included in the calendar (we will have to wake up very early!)

Monaco makes its first appearance on the calendar (for this type of Formula 3).

Note that Zandvoort is removed from the F3 calendar, after two seasons.

For the moment, no Frenchman scheduled for 2023…

To be continued …
