Victory for Ayumu Iwasa, another breakdown for Théo Pourchaire

Roy Nissany makes a better start than his teammate Ayumu Iwasa, but the Japanese driver doesn’t let himself be beaten and takes back the lead of the race. As for Théo Pourchaire, he makes a good start but gets squeezed on the curbs, first by Iwasa and then by Felipe Drugovich.

The VSC is deployed from the first lap following Ralph Boschung’s retirement after spinning out from a slight contact with Juan Manuel Correa on the banking.
