Abu Dhabi closes the F1 season, but also the F2 season. The F1 feeder series has not raced since September 2nd, during the Italian Grand Prix in Monza. In his third season in F2, French driver Théo Pourchaire, who races for ART and is a reserve driver for Alfa Romeo/Sauber, is leading the championship with a 25-point advantage over Danish driver Frederik Vesti, who races for Prema and is a junior driver for Mercedes.
To be crowned champion, Pourchaire must score 15 points over the course of the weekend, out of a maximum of 39 that an F2 driver can collect. Results this weekend on Canal+Sport!
