The young Estonian driver began his single-seater career in 2019, at the age of 15, in the German F4 and Italian F4 with the Prema team. He finished seventh in the German championship and third in the Italian F4 with a total of 11 podiums and four wins, two in each championship. That same year, he joined the junior program of the Mercedes F1 Team.

In 2020, the Estonian joined the ART team and the Formula Renault Eurocup, but he only finished 11th in the championship with 54 points, while his teammate Victor Martins won the title. In 2021, Aron returned to Prema to participate in the very first season of FRECA. He finished third in the championship with 197 points, seven podiums including two victories.

The following year, Paul Aron repeats the FRECA, still with Prema, and finishes second in the championship with 238 points, eight podiums including six victories and seven pole positions. The Estonian arrives in FIA F3 and in his first season, he finishes third in the championship with 112 points, one victory and three other podiums.

With his good results, Paul Aron will join the gateway to F1 through the Trident team for the last round of the F2 season, this weekend in Abu Dhabi. The Italian team announced the news on their X account. « We are proud to announce that Paul Aron will be part of our crew for the final round of the Formula 2 championship at Yas Marina,” the team specifies in post X ». However, this arrival comes at the expense of French driver Clément Novalak, who does not have a seat in F2 for next season.
