F2 stops in Barcelona for the 6th weekend of the season. Paul Aron is leading the championship with 80 points, closely followed by the Frenchman Isack Hadjar (78 points) and Zane Maloney (69 points). In terms of teams, Campos is in the lead with 104 points, Hitech is second with 95 points, and MP is third with 94 points.

It will be the seventh year that the FIA Formula 2 Championship takes place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Oliver Bearman won the main race here last year ahead of Enzo Fittipaldi and Victor Martins.

The record for victories on this circuit is held by Felipe Drugovich. The Brazilian won the sprint race in 2020 and both races in 2022. The only other driver with multiple victories here is Nobuharu Matsushita, with two wins.

Bearman is also the only current driver to have claimed a pole position here. The Briton did it last year with Prema Racing, beating Fittipaldi by 0.077s. Bearman has the opportunity this weekend to become the first driver to score multiple poles here, as he took part in Free Practice 1 for F1 this Friday with Haas.
