F2 sprint race postponed due to heavy rain in Spa
Due to the torrents of rain that fell on Spa mid-afternoon, the F2 sprint race has been postponed to an as yet unknown date.

Due to unfavorable weather conditions at Spa-Francorchamps, it has been decided to postpone this afternoon’s Formula 2 sprint race. The race was supposed to start at 2:15 pm, but due to continuous rain on the track, it was first delayed before being finally postponed. It is still uncertain when it will take place, but it could happen after the F1 qualifying session, possibly around 6 pm.
The last time F2 canceled a race was back in 2021, in Russia, also due to heavy rains. However, it is worth noting that the F3 sprint race had been postponed in Silverstone due to the precipitation.
For the partially reversed grid race, ART driver Zak O’Sullivan was supposed to start in pole position with Dennis Hauger from MP Motorsport joining him on the first row.
