Sprint Italia: A healthy ride for Ollie Bearman
Ollie Bearman seized every opportunity to win the first F2 race of the weekend. The Briton, a member of the Ferrari Academy, began warming up the crowd before F1 qualifying.

This first race of the weekend started with a quite violent accident. Approaching the first chicane of the Monza circuit, Zak O’Sullivan and Oliver Goethe were involved in a collision. Both men had to retire.
To remove the cars and clean the track, the safety car was deployed. When the race resumed, Enzo Fittipaldi, who was in the lead, locked up his wheels at the start of the first braking zone. This allowed Victor Martins and Ollie Bearman to overtake him.
French was under pressure from the British, who took the lead. He then attacked Marti, who had taken the lead of the race after the Brazilian’s mistake. Victor Martins took advantage a few moments later. The two men engaged in a battle from a distance.
When one was driving faster, the other responded the next lap. Despite pressure put on the Ferrari Academy driver, Victor Martins couldn’t do anything. Ollie Bearman was much stronger in this sprint race. The French driver crossed the finish line just under two seconds later.
Kimi Antonelli is having a nightmare weekend. After crashing the Mercedes into the wall during the first free practice session in F1, he suffered a puncture and his front wing was broken. He lost precious time in the process and finishes in a distant 18th place.
