Formula E – Buenos Aires ePrix: Post-Race Penalties
Several drivers were penalized by the race stewards at the Buenos Aires ePrix following the race. Salvador Duran, who finished 8th, was excluded from the race, while Nelson Piquet Jr and Jarno Trulli received grid penalties for the next round.

During the last ePrix held in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, Salvador Duran managed to finish in 8th place, but the Mexican was ultimately disqualified from the race for using more than the maximum allowed energy. This changes the top 10 and the race standings, which you can find updated below.
The Amlin Aguri team driver was not the only one penalized after the race. Indeed, Nelson Piquet Jr (China Racing), who finished in 3rd place, was given a 5-place grid penalty for the next ePrix – which will take place in Miami on March 14th – for speeding in a section under yellow flag conditions.
Another former F1 driver has been sanctioned by the stewards, it is the team owner/driver Jarno Trulli who has been penalized for a gearbox change, he will receive a 10-place penalty for the next race.
