Formula E – Moscow joins the inaugural season calendar
The officials of the Formula E championship have announced the addition of a new race to the calendar of the first season. This new ePrix will take place in the heart of Russia's capital, Moscow, with a circuit laid out near the Kremlin.

The first Formula E championship will finally have ten events after the addition in recent days of a new race, on June 6, in Moscow, Russia.
Initially, Formula E was scheduled to go to Berlin on May 30, 2015. Finally, the race was moved up to May 23 to include a race in Russia before the final round, which will still take place in London on June 27.
Alejandro Agag expressed great satisfaction with Russia’s addition to the Formula E calendar: « We are delighted to welcome Moscow to our 2014/2015 Formula E calendar. The Russians have always warmly and enthusiastically embraced international events, and we are certain it will be the same with the Moscow ePrix. The Russian automobile market continues to grow, as does its electric vehicle industry, and I am convinced that Formula E will help promote the concept of sustainable mobility in this country. We have no doubt that the Moscow ePrix, with its competitive race, will offer a fantastic spectacle for the teams, drivers, and fans. »
Svetlana Korshunova, organizer of the Moscow ePrix, is also very happy to welcome electric single-seaters in the heart of the Russian capital: « For eight years now, we have been organizing the Moscow City Racing and every year we do our best to offer something new and exciting. In 2011, the key moment of our show was the participation of the Formulec EF01 single-seater, the world’s first eco-friendly car, developed in France. Since then, we have closely followed the development of this segment in motorsport, and it is a great honor for us to see 100% electric single-seaters return to the streets of Moscow, but with a very different status. This is going to be an unforgettable experience. »
