A race in the streets of Paris from 2015?
The Formula E calendar could continue to expand with a prestigious race as Paris has reportedly agreed to host the inaugural round of the 2015-2016 Championship.

A car race in the streets of Paris? You dreamed of it, Formula E seems to be about to make it happen. According to the agency RMC Sport, the French capital should host the opening round of the next 2015-2016 World Championship.
For several months, Parisian political officials – including the mayor, Anne Hidalgo – and organizers of the electric championship have been in discussions, and the project is now said to be well advanced, with a few details remaining to be settled according to the sports car journalist, Antoine Arlot.
The race could take place in September 2015, and the chosen route should be located at the Invalides site in the 7th arrondissement. It would be the seventh capital visited by Formula E after Beijing, Putrajaya, Buenos Aires, where races have already taken place, as well as Berlin, Moscow, and London, which will be the last three ePrix of the 2014-2015 season.
