Vitantonio Liuzzi will be present with Team Trulli in Long Beach
Vitantonio Liuzzi has been confirmed for a new Formula E ePrix with Jarno Trulli's team. After Miami, the Italian will therefore race again in Long Beach.
Jarno Trulli’s Formula E team confirmed on their Twitter feed that Vitantonio Liuzzi will participate in the upcoming ePrix in Long Beach this Saturday, April 4th. After Michela Cerruti left to join VLN, Jarno Trulli decided to call upon his compatriot who was on vacation in Miami at the time.
Besides Liuzzi, Loic Duval continues with Dragon Racing, Scott Speed with Andretti, and Charles Pic with China Racing. So for the first time in the 2014/2015 season, the same 20 drivers will be present for two consecutive Formula E events (Miami and Long Beach).
In Miami, Jarno Trulli’s team experienced overheating issues while both drivers were having a very solid race following challenging qualifying sessions.
