Shanghai: The victorious Ferrari disqualified
The Ferrari AF Corse of Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado, winner of the 4 Hours of Shanghai in GTE-Pro, was disqualified after the race due to a too low floor. The Porsche of Kevin Estre and Michael Christensen inherits the victory.

Some will call it karma, others voodoo. Ferrari seemed to have finally broken its curse in Shanghai by finally winning the race after seven years of unsuccessful attempts. But no, the evil eye is watching!
The AF Corse No. 51, driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado, was eventually disqualified, it was learned on Sunday late afternoon. The reason? The stewards, who always carry out technical checks right after the race, noticed that the floor was less than 50 millimeters from the ground, which is prohibited by the regulations.
According to AF Corse, it was contact with a Porsche at the beginning of the race or with another Ferrari from Red River Sport in GTE-am that caused the lowering of a part of the floor. An explanation not sufficient for the stewards. They upheld the sentence. AF Corse decided to appeal.
In this image, we can see that the front left part of the car is damaged. Unless it’s the contact that follows?

With this disqualification, it is ultimately the Porsche No. 92 of the duo Michael Christensen and Kevin Estre, reigning world champions, that claims the victory.
