Endurance: the 2021 Le Mans 24 Hours postponed
Not wanting to propose a closed-door event, the ACO has decided to postpone its event to August 21&22, 2021.

Originally scheduled for June 12 and 13, 2021, the 89th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans has been postponed to August 21 and 22 of the same year.
The wish to welcome the public
Apparently, the 2020 edition marked by COVID-19 has left its mark.
The health crisis is not under control, but the ACO has already decided to postpone its flagship event by two months.
As a true icon of motor racing, the event must welcome spectators.
Pierre Fillon, President of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest: « This decision, although difficult to make, is the most appropriate. We cannot imagine organizing the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the second year in a row without spectators. It is then our duty to do everything possible to achieve this essential goal while ensuring competitors visibility throughout the season. We are working tirelessly to offer a safe event, providing the necessary health guarantees. The show promises to be thrilling on the track, with the arrival of the new Hypercar category. »
