Regardless of the model she takes to the track, she is already making history. With this selection, she becomes the first woman to drive a hypercar. She also succeeds Vanina Ickx in joining the list of women to take the wheel of a car in the premier category.
« I am very happy to have been selected. Just a year ago, I was participating in the Bahrain Rookie Test in LMP2 with Richard Mille, while I was racing in the Alpine Elf Europa Cup. It was a big milestone in my career, as I suddenly found myself behind the wheel of a prototype. I have learned a lot, assures the LMP2 driver.
And there, a new opportunity presents itself to me with new tests, but this time behind the wheel of a Hypercar. It’s a dream that is going to come true. I am thrilled. And on a personal level, I am quite proud to show that women can thrive at the highest level of motorsport. This proves that attitudes are evolving in the right direction. I hope that my example will inspire some vocations among young girls.
This test could intensify her desire to pursue her career in endurance racing, as she mentioned during the 2022 edition.
