French becomes a Lamborghini factory driver. Starting next year, the former Haas Formula 1 driver will join the Iron Lynx team. This is what the bull brand has just announced, specifying that initially he will be behind the wheel of a GT3 before preparing for the LMDh category for the year 2024.

The man who has been driving in Indycar for two seasons now will also take part in the 24 Hours of Daytona on January 28th and 29th, still behind the wheel of a Lamborghini. The rest of his season has not yet been revealed.

First of all, it is an honor to join Lamborghini, it is such an iconic brand for all car enthusiasts, including myself and my children, says Romain Grosjean excitedly.

An incredible endurance project

In addition to that, I am very excited about two things: the first is to start at Daytona with the GT3, which has had great success [on this circuit], and with a very good team like Iron Lynx and such teammates by my side. It will be a great discovery for me.

And then, later in the year, the development of the new LMDh, which is a very beautiful car – I had the chance to see it – and an incredible project in endurance. This category is becoming very exciting with the arrival of all the manufacturers. Lamborghini, being a brand that knows a lot of success, I hope that we can achieve great things in the future.

After Formula 1 and Indycar, Romain Grosjean will now experience the joys of endurance racing, with undoubtedly the 24 Hours of Le Mans as his main goal.
