Lilou Wadoux, the first female winner in WEC
The Ferrari driver triumphed at the 6 Hours of Spa in the GTE am category. She becomes the first woman to win in the WEC, across all categories.

Forever in the history books. At just 22 years old, Lilou Wadoux once again proves that she is one of the best drivers in the world. After a stint with the Richard Mille Racing Team in LMP2 last year, the Amiens native has moved to Ferrari in GTE am for 2023. She has also become the first female driver to join the Scuderia.
With her new team, Richard Mille AF Corse, the young driver immediately got into the groove. The first race of the season didn’t last long as the car completed only four laps at Sebring. But at Portimao, the second round of the season, she was in the leading pack. Ultimately, she finished second, just a few thousandths of a second behind the Corvette #33.
Finally, it was at Spa, last weekend, that Lilou Wadoux and her partners got their revenge. On the track located in the Ardennes, the Ferrari #83 crossed the finish line first. We avenged the victory that we narrowly missed in Portimao, exclaimed the native of Amiens.
With this success, she becomes the first woman to establish herself in all categories in WEC. In the standings, she occupies the second place with her crew (the Italian Rovera and the Argentinian Perez Companc), behind the Corvette #33.
