The Cadillac number 3 had a hell of a pace. It was running at the front of the race, but a GT car collided with the American Hypercar. Behind the wheel, Sébastien Bourdais managed to get back on track but had to go through the pits to repair the Hypercar.

« We have a good car and it’s just about running a flawless race, which we did, but we don’t control external factors. It’s a shame. What’s really unfortunate is that a GT, which got confused in the slow zones, was speeding and crashed into our right rear », lamented the Frenchman.

Sébastien Bourdais, aside from this accident, had a solid first third of the race, with the provisional best lap time. Scott Dixon, another driver of the Cadillac, is also proud of the pace displayed by the Hypercar.

I hope that we will be able to drive on dry land and show what this Cadillac can do. The car is amazing.
