A nod to Robert Kubica in a fake BMW advert
During the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Robert Kubica sent Dries Vanthoor's BMW #15 into the wall. It was enough to inspire an X user (ex-Twitter). He created a fake advertisement, approved by the WRT drivers.

There was bitterness. At the beginning of the night, a violent contact occurred between Robert Kubica’s Ferrari #83 and Dries Vanthoor’s BMW #15. In the Hunaudières straight, the Polish driver sent the Belgian into the barriers, causing him to retire.
This deliberate maneuver was very poorly received by many people. By the commissioners as well, who penalized the former Formula 1 driver with a 30-second stop and go penalty.
Several days after this dangerous incident, the tension has visibly subsided. A racing enthusiast then decided to parody Robert Kubica’s gesture, through a fake advertisement. In this one, we can see the German Hypercar staying in its lane. And the yellow Ferrari violently cutting in front of the first car. With a simple quote. « BMW Lane Assist. It keeps you between the lines. »
Shared on Twitter, this montage received over 4,000 likes. Including one from Dries Vanthoor, the victim of the accident. “Sorry, but this is awesome,” he wrote. His teammate, Raffaele Marciello, simply replied with funny emojis.
