6 Hours of Sao Paulo: the weekend schedule
Interlagos returns to the WEC calendar and the competition is expected to be fierce in both the Hypercar and LMGT3 categories. MotorsInside lays out the schedule to savor every moment of what promises to be an intense weekend.
Nine manufacturers, four different winning crews in four races, undecided races from start to finish and a completely crazy championship… One can’t help but drool over the new golden age of endurance, including the WEC, which offers sensational races lasting for hours on end.
The World Championship is making a stop in Sao Paulo for the first time since 2014, back when the LMP1 and GTE cars were still racing. Ten years later, everything has changed.
Hostilities will start this Friday and we will have to take into account the five-hour time difference. The first two free practice sessions will be launched, followed the next day by the FP3. The qualifications and the Hyperpole (expanded to the WEC and no longer limited to the 24 Hours of Le Mans) will be the first major highlight of the weekend, the day before the start of the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo.
