The 6 Hours of Fuji could see Pure Racing win the GT3 title
As only two races remain in this season of the World Endurance Championship, a first title could be awarded. The Porsche #92 leads the GT3 standings with a comfortable lead.

The Porsche 92 can establish its dominance in this Endurance World Championship. With two wins and three podiums in six races, the Pure Rxcing team is the strongest in GT3. Apart from the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the team has been on all the podiums of the season.
With such ease on the track, the trio Malykhin/Sturm/Bacheler dominates the championship with a 28-point lead over the team’s sister car. With only two races to go, the title could be decided as early as next weekend.
Indeed, Fuji could see the crew of #92 clinch the first GT3 title in WEC. For each 6-hour race, the winner is awarded 25 points and 38 points for 8-hour races. In addition to that, one point is given for each pole position. So, that adds up to a total of 65 points.
To win the title in Japan, Pure Rxcing’s Porsche will have to increase its lead by 12 points compared to the #91. Several scenarios are possible. There are eight in total, we reveal them to you. We are considering the best possible result of the #92 against the worst of the #91.
