8 Hours of Bahrain – Free Practice 1: Peugeot surprisingly leading
Peugeot #94 finished on top of the first practice session, marked by a brief interruption with a Full Course Yellow.

A little surprise. In Bahrain, the Peugeot #94 led practically the entire first practice session. The Lioness beat the Porsche #5 and the Ferrari #51. Even though the gaps remain very small, it’s a performance from the French car. However, we will still have to wait for the rest of the weekend to draw a first assessment.
On the side of the cars competing for the world crown, the Porsche #6 finished in fifth place, 279 milliseconds behind the leader. The Toyota #8 was a little further back, in seventh position, 403 milliseconds down.
Akkodis in the lead in GT3.
In terms of the French forces, apart from the leading Peugeot, the sister car completed this hour and a half of driving in fourth position. Alpine was much further back, with car #35 in 14th place and car #36 in 16th.
In GT3, the Lexus #78 from Team Akkodis finished at the top of its category with nearly three tenths of a second ahead of the Vista AF Corse #55. The Iron Dames, for their likely last race with the pink Lamborghini, were at the back of the pack with the 16th time. The already crowned Porsche #92 slowly settled in with the last time.
