« Nobody is perfect »: Porsche uses humor to highlight its many successes in 2024
Porsche dominated the two main endurance championships this year: the WEC and the IMSA. The brand has released a humorous visual to highlight its numerous successes in 2024.

He only missed one crown. That of the constructor’s title in the World Endurance Championship (WEC). Apart from this missing title, Porsche crushed all competition this year. Of course, the brand did not win all the endurance races it participated in, but it generally dominated the other participants.
In WEC, Porsche won three races out of eight and especially secured pole position at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the Hypercar category. Enough to win the drivers’ title with #6 and the World Cup for teams with Team Jota. Toyota picked up the crumbs.
But to this, we must also add four other titles in the GT3 category. The domination of the Manthey team in GT3 has allowed them to place their two cars in the top two positions of the ranking and to secure the drivers’ and teams’ championships one race before the end.
« In memory of our unforgettable work after 1983 »
Now, let’s go to the other side of the Atlantic where the raid is even more impressive. Porsche has won nine crowns. Already three in IMSA GTP (drivers, teams, and constructors). Then three more in Endurance Cup GTP (drivers, teams, and constructors). Finally, three more in IMSA GTD Pro (drivers, teams, and constructors).
All these successes, the Stuttgart-based manufacturer honored them in a humorous visual produced by Only endurance. In memory of our unforgettable work after 1983, highlighted Porsche Motorsport on Twitter. This simple sentence refers to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where, this year, the 956 had crushed the competition. Nine out of the top ten places were occupied by this prototype at the finish. The race was won by Vern Schuppan, Hurley Haywood, and Al Holbert after 370 laps.
