Yannick Dalmas honored for the 24 Hours of Le Mans
The Frenchman has been named Grand Marshal of the next edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Each year, a racing personality is highlighted. This year, it will be Yannick Dalmas. The former Formula 1 driver made history at the 24 Hours of Le Mans by winning this race four times. But most notably with four different manufacturers: in 1992 with Peugeot, in 1994 with Porsche, in 1995 with McLaren, and in 1999 with BMW.

He has also supported many generations of drivers as a consultant and ambassador for motorsport, sharing his expertise within the FIA and with teams competing in events », emphasizes the Automobile Club de l’Ouest.
The four-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will have the honor of leading the 62 cars entered during the starting procedure of the classic Le Mans event on June 14, shortly before 4 PM. Armed with his status as Grand Marshal, he will bring all his experience and undying passion to the 93rd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The organizing body of the 24 Hours of Le Mans also awarded the Spirit of Le Mans trophy. It honors those who embody the values of endurance: commitment, passion, team spirit, and perseverance. This year, it was awarded to François Perrodo. He has established himself as a key figure in the paddock. He has achieved numerous successes in the World Endurance Championship, including the title in LMP2 Pro-Am in 2022 and several victories in GTE-Am.
