Roger Federer to start the 24 Hours of Le Mans
The Automobile de Club de l'Ouest has announced the news. Following in the footsteps of LeBron James and Zinédine Zidane, another of the world's sports stars will be starting the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The world of sports has been well represented at the 24 Hours of Le Mans for several years. After LeBron James for the centennial, it was Zinédine Zidane who waved the tricolor flag in 2024. For this new edition of the classic Le Mans race, Roger Federer will have the honor of starting the race.
Considered one of the greatest tennis players of all time, the Swiss has left his mark on the history of the sport with an impressive track record: 20 Grand Slam titles, 310 weeks spent at the top of the world rankings, and a playing style that has fascinated entire generations of enthusiasts.
“It’s a great honor to have been invited to start the 24 Hours of Le Mans, a race as mythical as it is demanding.
