Toyota to use Spa 6 Hours to prepare Le Mans
The last round before the biggest race of the season, the 6 Hours of Spa will serve as a dress rehearsal for the teams.

A race that is particularly successful for Toyota. In 12 World Endurance Championship races, it has secured eight wins, including a record series of victories from 2017 to 2023.
But will the Japanese brand add a ninth success in 2025? For now, it seems complicated. The reigning world champion team is significantly lagging in terms of performance compared to Ferrari and BMW. And an outsider can easily come between all these hypercars.
Toyota will be able to use its two test days in April on this track to facilitate its work. These two sessions had already allowed them to get into the swing of things and prepare for the most important event: the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
For if today Toyota is preparing for the 6 Hours of Spa, significant groundwork in relation to the classic Le Mans will also be completed. Spa is always an important race because it’s the last event before Le Mans. Therefore, it’s an important moment in our preparation, as it’s our last opportunity to refine our processes, learn more about the car, and strengthen the team spirit in a race setting, confirms Kamui Kobayashi, driver of the #7 and team principal.
