The #51 Ferrari hit the tire wall hard as it exited the Raidillon. The Iron Lynx Mercedes #60 brought out a second red flag shortly afterwards. The #007 Aston Martin also crashed.

There was some damage in this second session. Very shortly after the pit lane opened, the Ferrari #51 went off track at the top of Raidillon. The hypercar hit the tire wall. The impact, visibly quite violent, caused a red flag.
Very shortly after restarting this session, the Iron Lynx Mercedes #60 caused a second red flag. The GT3 was stopped right in the middle of the Kemmel straight. In the final half-hour, it was the turn of the Aston Martin #007 to go off at Pouhon, before the Ferrari #50 slowed after bumping into the wall.
Otherwise, in terms of performance, Porsche finally wrapped up a testing session in first place, thanks to the #6. Ferrari was still not far behind, at 91 thousandths, thanks to the #50. The BMW #20 returned to the podium after a very strong performance during this second free practice session.
For the Tricolores, it was a bit less good than this morning, but there are big hopes for the qualifications and the race. The Alpine #36 and the two Peugeots were in ninth, tenth, and eleventh place. The second A424 was in a distant fifteenth position.
The Aston Martins, although a second faster than in the first session, were unable to climb beyond the last two places.
In GT3, the hierarchy was completely overturned with the Aston Martin from Heart of Racing in first position. The Akkodis Lexus #87 was still right behind. The other Aston Martin, from Racing Spirit of Léman, confirmed its morning pace with a solid fifth position.
Porsche, Mercedes, and Corvette found themselves in the lower part of the rankings. Are these brands hiding their true performance for the rest of the weekend?
