6 Heures de Spa – H+2: Two incidents neutralize the race
A run-off and mechanical problems with two GT3s forced the race stewards to deploy the safety car.

The start of this second hour of the race was very eventful. At the front of the Hypercar category, the two Ferraris and the Alpine #36 were battling. The battle was halted due to the intervention of the virtual safety car.
At the first turn, the BMW #31 from WRT went off into the gravel. The Lexus #87 from the Akkodis team was stopped on the grass on the Kemmel straight. This race interruption allowed some teams to make pit stops.

The Racing Spirit of Léman was ruining its race. After a poor start, the French team received a time penalty for an unsafe release.
The safety car was deployed after twenty minutes of the virtual car. A decision that could complicate the task for Ferrari and Alpine. The neutralization lasted nearly 40 minutes.
The battle in GT3 was very fierce. The BMW #46 was putting a lot of pressure on the Ford #88 to take the provisional second place in the event. The car from WRT was also penalized with a drive-through for excessive speed in the pit lane. A sanction that came shortly after securing that second place. The BMW #15 was also penalized, as was the Alpine #35, for an infraction under the safety car.
A damaging penalty for the French car that had climbed to fifth place. It left the pits in second-to-last position.
