Porsche suffers a setback ahead of the Le Mans 24 Hours
Intense in IMSA, Porsche was finally beaten by Acura at the Detroit round. Should this motivate the German brand to shine at the 24 Hours of Le Mans?

A setback that will wake up Porsche? If the Stuttgart brand is struggling in the world endurance championship, the German structure is dominating its opponents on the other side of the Atlantic, in IMSA.
After four consecutive victories, including the 24 Hours of Daytona, Porsche experienced its first pause in the streets of Detroit. The two 963s finished in third and fourth places. But only a few seconds behind the winning Acura.
Will this setback motivate the German firm to set things right at Le Mans? In two weeks, the 963s will be in the Sarthe to try to achieve a twentieth victory on this track of just over 13 kilometers.
