Sophia Flörsch back behind the wheel at Le Mans
The German will take the wheel of the Algarve Pro Racing LMP2 on the test day of the Le Mans 24 Hours.

This is not a fourth participation. Far from it. But Sophia Flörsch will be able to gain a bit more experience on this very technical track.
Back with Algarve Pro Racing, the team that secured its ticket to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the German driver will be able to take part in a test run on the Circuit de la Sarthe.
« Staying on the sidelines as a reserve driver is tough, but during Sunday’s test day, I’ll finally be in the APR LMP2. A big thanks to the best team managers, Stewart and Sam Cox. Honesty and hard work always pay off in the end! I’m fit, motivated, and giving it 110% », she announced.

As a reminder, the German has already participated three times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. All three times in the LMP2 category. The first two times, she was in a trio with Beitske Visser and Tatiana Calderon in the Richard Mille Racing Team car. And the last time, she was already in the Portuguese structure’s prototype.
After an excursion in Formula 3 and a single stint in Indy NXT, she returned to endurance racing as a test and reserve driver. She had taken part in a testing session at Castellet on the sidelines of the ELMS and also during a private session in Aragon, Spain.
