Just like Porsche, Ferdinand Habsburg is racing for a good cause. The Austrian has announced that he has just started a partnership with Mary’s Meals, with whom he launched the « Race for Meals » program.

Mary’s Meals provides nutritious school meals to children living in some of the world’s poorest communities.

The objective of this partnership is to associate the public with the driver. Spectators are invited to sponsor the Austrian’s race, meaning they donate for each lap he completes during the race. At the end of the 24-hour event, an anonymous sponsor will double the amount, which will then be donated to the association. Clarins Group, a French cosmetics brand, has also committed to donating an additional 22 euros for each lap completed, which is the amount necessary to feed a child for an entire school year.

If the Alpine driver were to win the race, he would fulfill one of his commitments: donating the prize and his bonus to this organization.
