Ferrari #83 was the fastest car in the first night session. Thanks to a blistering time in the opening minutes, it relegated the competition to just over a second.

A sky growing increasingly darker. Weather conditions growing increasingly cooler. The perfect opportunity to adapt to nighttime conditions, especially for young drivers or those classified as bronze.

Nearly two hours after the end of the qualifying sessions, the drivers still had a heavy foot on the accelerator. Despite a cooler track and reduced visibility, very fast lap times were set by the men and women on the grid.

The Ferrari #83 from AF Corse set a time a second faster than the rest of the pack in Hypercar, putting everyone in agreement. Several cars in the GT3 category and even the Ferrari #51 had not taken to the track after 35 minutes of running.

The session was very calm. Forty-five minutes before the end, a double yellow flag was waved at Mulsanne, followed by a full course yellow. After several minutes, the race control finally displayed the red flag. The interruption lasted a good quarter of an hour to clean the track at that spot.

As the final minutes of this first day approached, the Mercedes #63 had not gone on track due to its accident during the first practice session. The TF Sport Corvette #33 also remained in the garage due to mechanical issues.

The Ferrari from AF Corse maintained the lead throughout the two-hour run. After dominating the qualification, the LMP2 from AO by TF repeated its performance during this night session. Finally, the Akkodis ASP team achieved a double in the GT3 category: the #87 ahead of the #78.
