Porsche #6 disqualified from qualifying for the 24 Hours of Le Mans
The news broke during the second free practice session: the #6 Porsche will start last.

A major setback. A few minutes after the end of qualifying, the officials of Porsche #6 were summoned to the stewards for a technical infringement.
According to the statement released by the commissioners, the German manufacturer’s car did not meet the required minimum weight. As a result, all times recorded during this session have been canceled.
This disqualification means that the Aston Martin #009 benefits from a ticket to the hyperpole this Thursday.
The Alpine #36 was also under a penalty. Mick Schumacher did not slow down despite the yellow flag when car #35 spun at the Porsche curves exit. Consequently, all his times before this incident were deleted. This does not change anything for the crew.
