McLaren presents its 2027 hypercar for WEC and the 24 Hours of Le Mans
The day after McLaren's press conference to discuss its return to Hypercar, the brand unveiled a show car.

A chaotic presentation. Nearly 35 minutes late, no organization. And very little new information, if any. McLaren wanted to do things on a grand scale but completely missed the mark.
Saturday, June 14, McLaren invited the press and especially the public to the 24 Hours of Le Mans village to discover the hypercar entered in 2027. It was presented in a large box, as if it were a gift. But large poles prevented all spectators from taking decent photos…
Regarding the car’s features, nothing has changed since the press conference on Friday, June 13. It still has a Dallara chassis powered by a V6 twin-turbo « where the identity of Formula 1 » can be found, announced Zak Brown, the brand’s CEO.
Several numbers were marked on the car: 95 for the victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 84 for the victory at the Monaco Grand Prix, and 74 for the victory at Indianapolis. A reminder of the triple crown won by McLaren, which constitutes the brand’s next objective with this return to Hypercar.
