Peugeot to outdo Le Mans at 6 Hours of São Paulo

After a complicated week at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with an off-track excursion that nearly ended in disaster and a lack of pace, the Sochaux-based company would like to move past this episode. The only good news was that reliability was present.

A month after this deadline, the Lionesses return to Interlagos, a fast and winding circuit. It’s a very varied track with fast sections and a tighter, more winding part. Due to a scheduling conflict with Formula E (Berlin E-Prix), the crews will be rearranged for the 6 Hours of São Paulo. Car #93 will be driven by Paul Di Resta and Mikkel Jensen, and car #94 will be shared by Loïc Duval and Malthe Jakobsen. Théo Pourchaire, the team’s test driver, will be present in Brazil to step in for one of the main drivers if needed.

This parameter could be important, even crucial, for managing the drivers’ effort.

I can’t wait to return to Interlagos where I raced in Formula 1 and last year in Hypercar. It’s a special track, mainly because it’s counterclockwise, which is a big challenge. I hope we can regain our Spa-Francorchamps performance to achieve a good result. There will only be two of us sharing the wheel of the #93, as JEV is in Berlin, so that will give us more drive time.
